Own a piece of history at to 102 7th ave, in the historic Pitman Grove. This unique home was renovated and updated since 2016, with roofing, walls, insulation, HVAC, doors, storm door, flooring, windows, hot water heater, and roofing. The upstairs bathroom was converted into an easy step in shower by the current owner. The plumbing has a new modern manifold system, and the basement is waterproofed with a french drain. The large tree that was looming over the home was also full removed, making the back yard flat and full usable. The basement door has a new custom wood door, with entry from the back yard.

The Grove centers around a circular park where the Pitman Grove Auditorium was constructed. Twelve numbered avenues, lined with cottages, radiate from this circle like spokes on the hub of a wheel.[4]

The Grove was established in 1871 as a Methodist summer camp meeting site.[5] From its early days, it attracted a large number of visitors. In 1892, a reporter for The Philadelphia Record recorded 60,000 visitors over a 16-day period. Increasingly, people started to live in the Grove year-round.[5] In 1905, it became a part of the Borough of Pitman.
